Ventilation systems for the timber windows
Each room must be ventilated in any case, otherwise, fungus, mold and other harmful microorganism could appear and breed. Each of our standard tilt&turn windows and balcony doors have a micro-ventilation function: while roating a handle 135 degrees a gasket is released and so results a window to be non hermetic. While roating a handle 180 degrees window sash tilts. Our outward opening windows (both side hung and top hung) also have night vent function. If you require additional ventilation for closed timber window, we could also insert the following systems in your timber window or door:
Trimvents
This kind of ventilation system is especially popular. It requires a cut hole in a frame or a sash which is protected by a hood from the outside and a vent canopy from the inside. Air penetration is adjustable using a a vent.
Aereco
This one is also insulated on a cut hole in a frame or a sash. These vents are no need of electricity as a valve opens and closes automatically, when a sensor reacts to humidity. If humidity level in a room changes, the sensor will open and close the vent. There are acoustic Aereco vents which suppress noise as well.
Ducoplius and Ducoton
These ventilation systems are insulated on a glass unit. Visible glass part is reduced to 60 or 80 mm. The outer design of these vents corresponds our Softline profile. Free air flow area is 15000 mm2. These vents fit for the glass units of 20, 24, 28, 32 mm.
Ducoframe louvres
Louvres are insulated into the timber door sashes or fixed frame windows. It is the best choice for the areas requiring a high air flow (e.g. a boiler room).
Vertical vents
These vents are manufactured and assembled together with a window. The swing part of the vent is made from the same wood as the whole timber window. External galvanized steel grates can be white, brown or steel colour.
