Environment and ecology
In February of 2008, our company was the first one among other lithuanian timber window manufacturing companies to receive an international FSC® certificate.
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) certificate controls and ensures ecology in manufactured products which is monitored by independent certifiers according to FSC standards and assessing flows of the products. Standards are developed in accordance with the FSC principles and criteria. The certification allows a customer to choose the products which have been produced in accordance with well-defined ecological standards. Only certified companies can mark their products with FSC labels. It is not enough just to buy FSC certified timber as a company must be certified as well. Each year audits must be carried out.
For those who care about environment must know that FSC certificate guarantees the customer that the timber is purchased from well-managed forests and so exalts importance of environmental protection, ecology, social welfare and long-term economics issues. Ask us for our FSC® certified products.

The quality system
UAB Meranti are certified to harmonised European Standards and also National Standards in the UK. We have a cooperation with CENSolutions Limited, ER Certification Limited and ERC Testing Limited, who collectively manage and look after all our product certification needs.
We have a full range of products fully tested and certified to the following standards.
BS 6375-1:2015 – Weather performance of windows and doors.
PAS 24:2016 – Enhanced Security of windows and doors.
CENSolutions offer three levels of certification to ensure your business is fully compliant with EN 14351 & CE Marking or UKCA Marking. To CE or UKCA Mark against this standard the following clauses must be adhered to.
- Clause 7.3 FPC Manual
- Clause 4.6 Dangerous Substances
- Clause 4.8 The Load Bearing Capacity of Safety Devices
- Clause 4.12 Thermal Transmittance
- A CE / UKCA Marking Declaration of Performance.
The CENSolutions Bronze CMS Mark
Entry level certification for compliance with CE Marking to BS EN 14351 (in 2021 this will also include compliance for the UKCA Mark). Bi-annual assessments are required for the Bronze CMS Mark.
The CENSolutions Silver CMS Mark
BS 6375 Weather Performance certification, annual testing & bi-annual is a requirement of assessments are required for the Silver CMS Mark
The CENSolutions Gold CMS Mark
PAS 24:2016 certification, annual testing & bi-annual is a requirement of assessments are required for the Gold CMS Mark

The ER Certification CMS Mark
This covers EN 14351 and PAS 24:2016 for UAB Meranti under the scope of UKAS.
ER Certification is an independent body working only in the fenestration and glazing sector. Everyone involved has a strong background in the industry, in manufacturing, specification and system design. ER Certification has UKAS accreditation for Product Certification schemes for PAS 24, EN 14351-1, EN 1279, EN 12150 as well as ISO 9001 Quality Management. ER Certification is also a UK Approved body for UKCA Marking across a wide range of European Norms and is an independent agency working for the British Fenestration Council on certifying Window and Door Energy Ratings.
