Fittings and handles for timber windows
Outward opening casement timber windows are mounted with „Siegenia Aubi“ Titan hardware, combined with "Sterling" or "Avotec" hinges. The main hardware security features are as follows:
- These outward opening styles are available: Side hung and Top hung;
- Casement timber window hardware includes night vent position;
- Egress hinges are available for Side hung timber windows;
- Higher security fittings Secure by Design are available for outward opening casement windows.
Inward opening tilt and turn timber windows and balcony doors are mounted with „Siegenia-Aubi“ Titan hardware produced in Germany. The main hardware security features are as follows:
- The TITAN comfort mushroom cams ensures smooth and faultless opening, tilting and closing of timber windows;
- Possible opening styles: tilt & turn + night vent; turn only; tilt only (with an opportunity to swing a sash in for cleaning the window);
- Sash weight is up to max 130 kg;
- After instalation timber window can be adjusted to three directions;
- Blocking of the erroneous window opening actions.
We can also offer a higher security "Siegenia-Aubi" hardware WK2 for the timber windows with Secure by Design. There additional hardware elements till be added:
- Two additional fixation points in every corner of a timber window;
- A locking handle;
- Handle protection against drilling though from the outside.
For the windows with WK2 hardware, we do recommend to install the laminated and/or toughened glass units.
