Outward opening casement timber windows are mainly applied for the United Kingdom, Ireland and the Scandinavian countries. The main reason lays under traditions which have been cherished for many years. We can offer top hung and side hung outward opening timber windows.
The profile details were improved together with our partners in the United Kingdom. Softline profile has blunted edges on both the inner and outer sides of the window that allow to carry out the timber window’s finish more qualitatively: the window looks aesthetically better rather than those with the angular edges.
Casement timber windows as well as European type tilt and turn timber windows have dual weather seals (gaskets) all over the sash perimeter. This is very important due to the Northern climate, its strong winds and heavy rain as the sash opened outside is tightly pressed to the frame, whereas dual sealing obstruct water leakage and air permeability to occur. Dual seals and secure fittings ensure air permeability to class 4 and wind load to class E2400 (2400 Pa). Our top hung OUTW78 windows have water tightness tested to Class E750 (750 Pa) and OUTW98 top hung windows to Class E1500 (1500 Pa). Our side hung OUTW78 windows have water tightness tested to Class E900 (900 Pa) and OUTW98 side hung windows to Class 9A (600 Pa).
OUTW78 Softline profile timber casement windows have Uw value from Uw - 0.80 and OUTW98 Softline windows Uw from 0,73!
We offer triple or double glazed glass units up to 60 mm thickness. The standard glazing options are as follows: triple glass units of 56 mm thickness for OUTW98 Softline profile, 44 and 52 mm for OUTW78 Softline profile.
The lower horizontal surfaces of each timber window outside are covered with timber (accoya) drip rails.
Our timber casement windows have a water drainage system, qualitative "Siegenia Aubi" and "SecuriStyle" hardware which ensures safety and micro-ventilation (night vent).
All outward opening window can be with aluminium cladding profiles outside. We offer unique desing (flush style) aluminium cladding: 78 mm timber windot with aluminium cladding Uw value from Uw - 0.76 and OUTW98 windows Uw from 0,73!
