98 mm thickness timber window and doors profile 98 SLIM. Uw from 0.73 W/m²K
98 SLIM– a laminated timber window profile of 98 mm thick, which we have completely renewed on 2023. The main advantages and technical characteristics of this profile are as follows:
- Timber window heat transfer coefficient Uw from 0,73 W/m2K. It is cost-effective, low energy timber window profile. Timber windows and doors are suitable for A++ and passive houses.
- All glass units are insulated with “Swisspacer Ultimate” warm edge spacers. It is the new generation of fiberglass spacer profile, one of the best in the market. If all three glass panes are in thickness of 4 mm and the spacers between glass panes are of 22 mm, it helps to maintain an optimal space between glasses and so ensures better heat values when atmospheric pressure or temperature have an impact on it. As standard, we offer 56 mm thickness glass units, though it could be up to 60 mm.
- Better sound isolation Rw 35(-3;-7) dB.
- Secure by Design option for 98 Softline inward and outward opening windows and doors is available. .
- An option to all unique aluminium cladding outside on every timber window.
- Оur timber windows have dual seals (gaskets) all over a sash perimeter to ensure air permeability to class 4. Additional gasket applies to aluminium cladded windows.
- Inward opening windows IV98 profile have water tightness to class 9A (600 Pa) and wind load to class E2400 (2400 Pa).
- Outward opening windows OUTW98 profile have water tightness to class E1500 (1500 Pa) and wind load to class C4 (1600 Pa).
